All our camps are set in organized campsites throughout the Manso Basin, this is the only alternative possible in the National Park, this allow to build fires in the night, and the site features hot showers and restrooms. One of the most highly recommended campsites is located at the headwaters of the middle Manso River; from there, we combine trips along the middle and lower sections of the river with visits to the lakes in this basin.

Multi-day trips are designed to follow the season’s best waters and adapt to conditions, ensuring the most productive experience possible. Each day offers new waters and fresh opportunities.
When you arrive at camp, you’ll be greeted with fine wines, cocktails, and a generous dinner by the fire. Nights are spent in spacious private tents equipped with NRS cots, air mattresses, warm sleeping bags, pillows, and side tables. For extra comfort, we host just two guests per six-person tent. Dedicated dining, kitchen, and shower tents ensure a cozy and enjoyable stay in any weather.

Lower Manso River — Begins at Lake Steffen, after a one-hour drive from Bariloche, and flows for about seven miles until it meets the Villegas River where the take out is, near the Chilean border, forming the southern boundary of the National Park. This is a float-fishing stretch of exceptional beauty, with waters in striking shades of green and blue running through pristine Andean forest. It offers excellent fishing, especially with dry flies like mayfly and caddis, and the famous dragonfly hatch. This section is definitely a trip of a lifetime.

Middle Manso River — Begins on the southwestern shore of Lake Mascardi and flows into Lake Moscos, whose outflow is renowned for outstanding dry-fly fishing in summer. It then continues to La Medialuna Lagoon, a small, reed-fringed spot with a magical sense of seclusion, before completing the float to the exit point through pools, runs, riffles, and picture-perfect bends. Here, the chances of landing a grand slam are always present, with great sizes across all three trout species — brown, rainbow, and brook. A highly recommended fishing beat, with sectors of fast water, river mouths and outlets, and shallow reed banks where great experiences happen.

Lakes Fonck and Roca — Two medium-sized glacial lakes with limited access, which helps preserve the quality of the fishery. Rainbow and brook trout predominate, with good-sized brown trout occasionally showing up. Lake Fonck is divided into Fonck Chico (surrounded by dense reeds, fishable only by boat) and Fonck Grande (with varied structure and inflow from the Calote and Frío streams).
Lake Roca, bordered by coihue forest, is fed by three streams — Expedicionarios, Linco, and Felipe — creating highly productive structure. Depending on the season and conditions, we prioritize one or the other. The beauty of the Fonck lake with the view to the Tronador mont makes this place one where you would like to stay more than a day, this is why could recommend a one night camp.
Hess Lake & Channels — A small but highly productive lake, with reed-lined shores creating ideal habitat for dry-fly fishing. It offers spectacular views of Mount Tronador, with its permanent glaciers, along with a network of channels combining stunning scenery with excellent dry-fly and nymph fishing.
